My
son, Adam, loves to read. Actually, both my kids were always good readers. But,
Adam had always struggled with behavior issues...school suspensions,
alternative schools, and juvenile detention.
This inspired me to take action
and collect books for prison libraries.
You can help by donating a
gently used or like new book during my next book drive. Here’s what we accept:
- Fiction (all genres)
- Spiritual books
- Non-fiction (published within last 10 years)
- Self Help
- Award winners/classics
- Large prints
- Books in Spanish
We do NOT accept: encyclopedias
and textbooks, audio-visual materials or software, children's books, items containing
outdated information, oversized books, books in poor condition: broken spine,
moldy, water damaged, missing or yellowed pages, magazines.
