How to Get Reviews/Testimonials From Your Clients


Did you know that 90% of consumers read online reviews before they make a purchase? Online reviews have become the most trusted resource for buyers around the globe. If your business doesn’t have any testimonials or reviews, get started on them now!

The process for getting reviews should alert you to follow up with a customer who recently made a purchase. It’s nice to follow up with an email, text message or a phone call.  People respond to different types of touch points. When you call, keep it brief and set the tone at the beginning. Let them know you are calling to get some feedback on their recent purchase/experience, and you have 3 questions you would like to ask them.

Create a questionnaire with 3-5 easy questions that they can answer regarding your product or service. For example, Can you describe your experience with our staff? or Did you find the online transaction simple?

Make it easy for them to leave a review by sending them links to your Google business listing, Facebook business page, and/or website testimonial form.

Lastly, you know how everyone wants to eat at a restaurant that has a line out the door and are not interested in the restaurant that has the empty tables? Same is true for business. Online reviews and testimonials validate the services/products you provide and communicates clearly how your business has helped others. Reputation is everything!
