Marketing Your Business During a Global Pandemic

Now is not the time to sell! It’s time to come together with your customers and business community. The world will NEVER be the same after the Coronavirus Pandemic. Many businesses will emerge as leaders in the community. Webgirl Technology outlines 3 recommendations to set your business up for success:

1.      Contact Your Customers

Call your customers and see how they are doing. Send them an email outlining how your business is operating under the “Stay at Home Order”.

For example: “Our technical support team is 100% working from home and continues to be available to help you work on your website 24 hours a day/7 days a week.”

Carry that same message to your website, social media, and newsletters.

2.      Donate or Give to a Local Cause

Social media is filled with beautiful stories on companies giving back to the community in different ways. Fashion designers are sewing face masks; American factories are making face shields; And, distilleries are making hand sanitizer.

However you choose to give back, please make it real.

3.      Work on Your Plan

Stay engaged! You may find that you have some time available to work on your Digital Marketing Plan for 2020. Take out a calendar and outline how your business will move forward.

What will set you up for success in 2020? Do you need to review your pricing? What photographs are you using on social media? Do you need to change your Facebook Business Page description?

Jump on some Zoom meetings and find out what other businesses are doing. Ask for advice from your inner circle. Remember, a goal without a plan is just a wish.
