Announcing: Oasis Responsive Website Builder

Are you looking for a responsive website that meets the needs of your business? Let me introduce you to our new Oasis Website Builder.  The Oasis Website Builder is a complete solution to create a website that works smoothly on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

With over 100 new templates, each can be customized to match your brand. Each

template is built for responsive design. Responsive sites allow creators to customize content for each device size and tailor the visitor’s experience based on the device they’re using. Google predominantly uses the mobile version of the content for indexing and ranking; therefore, a responsive site design may enhance search rankings.

The Oasis Website Builder not only allows you to change the way your content displays on each device, it also sends as little data as necessary to each device. As a result, smaller devices don’t need to load (and then hide) content that you only want your visitors to see on a larger screen. It also allows you to customize content not only based on the device it’s being viewed, but in some cases based on the date, geolocation, site visit or other variables of your choice!

How to Make Eye-Catching Graphics

How to Make Eye-Catching Graphics

Hiring a graphic artist too expensive? Are you under a tight deadline? You can make your own eye-catching graphics in minutes and here are some software tools you can try to get the job done yourself:

Canva. My personal favorite. The free version works great. I pay for the premium because I uploaded some custom fonts and, obviously, manage a lot of marketing accounts. Template categories include all the usuals (social media graphics, blog graphics, etc.) plus eBooks, logos, worksheets, magazine covers, coupons, recipe cards, lesson plans…and the list just goes on and on!

Adobe Spark. Adobe has a great reputation. If you love Adobe, this is the platform for you. To create graphics, you can download Adobe Spark Post (from the Google Play Store or the App Store), or use the tool online.

Snappa. Comparable to Canva, Snappa has thousands of templates, a user-friendly graphic editor, and tons of free photos and graphics to choose from, the free version of Snappa is more than enough to get you started.

PicMonkey. Besides offering tons of templates, fonts and textures, you can also use PicMonkey to edit or touch up your existing photos, or to add text, effects or filters. Template categories include ads, logos, infographics, social media graphics, business cards, flyers…their selection is actually pretty impressive!

Everyone learns differently. Take these graphics tools for a test drive to find the right one for you. Let us know which one you love.

And, remember, if your graphics are icky, call Rikki!
