Technology has been using WebSolutions by maWebCenters to develop websites
since 2009. We chose to use this technology over others for several reasons.
However, we often receive requests to support WordPress and have always turned
down those requests for three main reasons:
First - Security. According to securi.net, during the first
quarter of 2016, WordPress websites were the top most hacked sites in the

and customer’s information should be secure and thus hosted with a secure
server.

Second – Time. The WordPress platform is
comprised of individual plugins made by anyone who wants to make them. While
this can be great because there is more variety, there is no way to know if it
is a good plugin, if it is updated, plans to be updated, works well etc. You could add a social media plugin to your
site and then find it gone 6 months down the road because the developer of that
plugin decided to take it down. More commonly than that, you use a plugin for a
gallery, form or some other element on your website and then find it never gets
updated which causes it to either stop working or need to be replaced. Their
approach to building a site is to make you skim through hundreds of plugins to
add to the platform to make your site work and then manage them all.

saves the customer time and
frustration because there is no searching to do for which one to add. Most importantly, it was natively built so we
will maintain those plugins, update them and provide support 24/7 on them. Finally, their platform is a website

Solution and comes with an incredible CMS (Content Management System), Customer
Relationship Database, Domains, Emails, SEO Tools, Social Media Tools, Email
Marketing System and other important Marketing Tools that help to promote the
website in one easy-to-use client administration. 
Third – Support. WordPress is built sort of
like an “app store” which again is great for variety of plugin options, but not
a very dependable route to go when building a website. When you’ve finally chosen the plugin you
want and add it to your website and it stops working, you can’t get support
from WordPress because they didn’t make it.
You have to go to all the individual developers for support on all of
the individual plugins you’ve used, which can vary. Some of those developers will offer email
support, some will offer forums but most completely disregard support all
together.
